EPT London: Ruban Visser, champion of the edition 2013

Ruben Visser won the title of the European Poker Tour London (EPT) after triumphing against a field of 646 participants, including a many poker stars. The young Dutch signed his first major victory that let him earn a prize of approximately $ 600,000. However, at the start of the final table, the public had their eyes on the American player Steve O'Dwyer, runner-up in the last edition and the day chipleader. This player was however eliminated at the 5th position. Chris Moorman was also among the favorites. But as short stack of the final, he wasn’t able to go very far. He finished the tournament in the 8th place.

Theo Jorgensen was the last professional player in the race after the elimination of O'Dwyer. He wasn’t able to reach the top three but settled for the 4th place. Olof Haglung occupied the third place and pocketed thanks to this great achievement the prize of $ 427,564. The Lithuanian Mantas Visockis was for his part the runner-up of the event. The High Roller tournament of £ 10,000 entry fee of the EPT London also delivered its verdict. The trophy was awarded to Talal Shakerchi who managed to win against Farah Zaka in the final duel. Many poker elite took part in this event like Fabian Quoss who won the third place, Vicky Coren who finished in the 6th position and the French Eric Sfez. After this step in London, the EPT will join Berlin, capital of Germany for a new stage. This great event will be held from April 17 to 27, 2013.
