EPT London 2013: Pasi Surmunen leads with 1.5 millions chips
The Main Event of the European Poker Tour London 2013 (EPT) comes in its fourth day of competition. The large elimination of French players marked the Day 3. Indeed, among the six French players present at Grosvenor Victoria Casino during the day of competition, only David Collin managed to qualify for the next tour. He should however show great performance if he wants to be among the finalist because he has a low stack. His compatriots, Flavien Guenan, Nicolas Levi, Antoine Labat and Dan Abouaf managed all to reach the paid list. Note that the 32 survivors for the fourth day of competition will resume the game on Thursday, March 14. Finland's Pasi Surmenen is currently leading with 1.5 million chips. He is followed in second position by the British Niall Farrell who has a stack of 1,510,000 chips.
Among the well known players in good position for the title of the EPT London Season 9, there is Nicolas Chouity, Steve O'Dwyer and Theo Jorgensen. They are part of the top 10 and are respectively in the third, seventh and eighth position. Jason Mercier, Chris Moorman, Ruben Visser, Annette Obrestad and Mike McDonald are also still in competition but their stacks are below the average. Nevertheless, they remain potential candidates for the title. The game is over for Liv Boeree, Viktor Blom, Barny Boatman, Phillip Gruissem, Sandra Naujoks, David William and Leo Margets. But these poker stars received all a part of the prizepool.
