WPT Bay Shooting Star 2013: Erik Seidel leader of the Day 3
Rendezvous for professional poker players, the World Poker Tour Bay 101 2013 recorded a record field. In fact, 643 players made up largely by international stars took part in the $ 7,500 buy-in main event. The prize pool amounts to $ 4,597,450, enough to allow the organizers to offer a colossal reward of $ 1,138,350 to the winner. Currently, the tournament reaches its third day of competition. At the end of the Day 2, there are only 63 players in the race. They will be all entitled to a reward. At the start of the Day 4, Erik Seidel is leading the race with 900,000 chips. Kyle Julius and Brendon Rubie follow him respectively in the second and the 3rd position.
Some poker players who can still climb to victory are also among the survivors like Isaac Baron, Danny Wong, Andrew Lichtenberger, Maria Ho, Kathy Liebert, Antonio Esfandiari, Carlos Mortensen and Matt Stout. In the side of French players, Bertrand Grospellier managed to qualify for the next step. However, his fate is still unknown as he will resume the game with a relatively small stack of 78,000 chips. The third day of competition started on Thursday, March 7. Note that several well-known poker players have already been shooted before the bubble burst. Among them are Mike Matusow, Jonathan Little, Nam Le, Jonathan Duhamel, Nick Schulman, Mike Sexton Mohsin Charania and JC Tran.
