Winamax Poker Tour: The final began with the Main Event
As previously announced, the final of the Winamax Poker Tour began on February 28 with the 550 Main Event. This event is characterized by its Day 1, which is divided into four sessions. The Day 1 of the Main Event is spread over two days with two sessions each day. The Day 1A and 1B took place yesterday at Cercle Clichy Montmartre with the participation of 505 players. The Day 1A brought together 297 participants and at the end of the 11 levels of 40 minutes, 155 players were qualified for the next round. At the end of the Day 1A, Yann Roudaut finished at the top with 140,400 chips. Players like Nicolas Levis, Vincent Bruno, Christophe Rousselet, Samuel Klein, Thierry Coutin, Nicolas Chapuis, Pierre Canali and Anael Dossevi are also qualified during the first day. In the afternoon, the Day 1B resumed with 308 players but in the end, there were more than 138 survivors. Jeremy Palvini is the chip leader with a stack of 129,400 chips. He was followed by Matthew Bourdon, Patrick Legrand, Basil Leleu, Valentin Messina, Sacha Thery, Vanessa Perdigon, Mattin Oxandaboure, Teddy Merienne and Felix Truelle.
In all, 293 players had their ticket for the Day 2A with Yann Roudaut as chip leader. To recap, the Day 2 of the poker tournament was split into two and this initiative is very good because of the number of players who will return to the Cercle Clichy Montmartre during the day of Saturday. Two other day 1 (Day 1C and D) are expected on Friday and with the crowds of yesterday, we can expect a record this year. And it is evident that the guaranteed prize pool of 500,000 will be exceeded.
