WPT National: In London from March 15
From March 15 to 19, the WPT National Series will visit London to crown a new champion of poker. To this end, many professional poker players but also great fans of this game of all nationalities will gather at Aspers Casino Wesfield, gambling establishment of Stratford City, to attempt to win the prestigious title of "Lord of Poker." This tournament with a buy-in of 1,650 will have two Day 1 during which eliminated players on Day 1A could still try again their luck to qualify in the Day 1B. The World Poker Tour's return to England after an absence since 2008 is included in the calendar of regional and national events of this famous international competition and more precisely in the full calendar of the WPT Season XI. What could therefore incite a high turnout of many Englishmen who are also known for their fervour in poker.
However, the full program of the National WPT London is still being finalized although according to the organizers, a long list of side events is planned including a high roller and a VIP reception to be held on March 16 at SkyBar terrace of Aspers Casino. In exchange to the 1,650 buy-in, participants in the WPTN London will receive 25,000 starting chips and will discover in exclusivity the unique structure of this tournament, which has been specifically tested by Matt Savage, the director of the competition.
