WSOP: The global diffusion of the brand had slight delay
Compared to the two other major poker tournaments worldwide, the World Poker Tour and the European Poker Tour, with a variant for South American continent for the latter, the LAPT, the World Series of Poker, despite the fact of being the most exclusive poker event in the world, has some delay in terms of diffusion throughout the world. The WSOP is certainly the rendezvous of poker enthusiasts from around the world that are held every year in Las Vegas but its export to other parts of the world experienced some delay. Despite the success of the league and the number of Europeans and Asians who travel to compete in the WSOP at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, organizers were slow to offer the brand on other continents. Even if there is the WSOP Europe, and to Africa and Asia Pacific recently, however, this progress was only observed recently.
The principle is the same as the mode of qualification except that the WSOP, WSOPE and WSOP Asia-Pacific have some specificity in terms of location and date. For this year, the WSOP Europe will take place at the Casino Barriere of Enghien-les-Bains from October 11 to 24, while the WSOP APAC invite players to Melbourne, Australia from April 4 to 14 at Crown Entertainment Complex. For the appointment of Las Vegas, it will always take place this year from the end of May for a month and a half during which sixty events are scheduled. Registration fees will range from $ 1,000 and $ 50,000 with a large sum of money at stake and the famous WSOP gold bracelets.
