Poker Zone Cup: The edition 2013 launched
Since last week, Adelaide Casino, Australia hosts a major event poker : the Poker Zone Cup. The edition 2013 of this poker festival began with two Side Events: the $ 230 NLHE Teams and the $ 30 Pot Limit Omaha. And it was a success because the poker room of Adelaide Casino was packed. Indeed the Event 1 was attended by 51 teams of two players or 102 players while last year, the event brought together only 49 teams. The team of Michelle McShane and Clinton Dodd won the event before Craig Ivey and Cathy Ivey. The winner of the $ 230 NLHE Teams pocketed $ 3,380 while their dolphin collected $ 2,240. The Event 2, the $ 30 PLO also attracted many participants which generated a prize pool of $ 3,080 for a buy-in of only $ 30. The event was won by Craig Ivey who pocketed $ 1,430.
From Tuesday, February 12, Adelaide Casino will receive two side events of the Poker Zone Cup, namely the $ 235 NLHE Terminator and the $ 450 NLHE Triple Chance before receiving the most awaited event of poker enthusiasts: the Poker Zone Cup Main Event. This event of $ 1,100 buy-in will begin on Thursday, February 14 and will run for two days. During the previous edition, Joseph Vinecombe won the Main Event ahead of Jarrod Glennon, Peter Lay, Adam Cusenza or Josh Barrett. Vinecombe pocketed $ 40,880 for his title Poker Zone Cup champion 2012.
