Duel of stars: Elky and Big Roger as the next fight
Poker elites love each challenge. After the head's up with a big stake that opposed the French Rui Cao and the Finns Patrik Antonius, the poker community can expect another duel between Roger Hairabedian and Bertrand Grospellier. Note that the challenge Cao vs Antonius is scheduled to begin on February 16th. But, the protagonists decided to give to the public a taste of this confrontation. So they started the game with variant 2-7 Triple Draw. After 3 hours of play, the French player got a significant advantage on his opponent. He effectively collected a profit of $ 330,000. It remains to see whether Cao and Antonius will continue the battle with the remaining two variants that are Pot Limit Omaha and No-Limit Hold'em or if they will decide to wait until the agreed date.
Regarding the challenge of Big Roger on his facebook page, he has already created a buzz on the web. Indeed, Big Roger announced having received a proposal from PokerStars for a challenge facing Elky in three sets live and in the online poker room. He refused this offer but proposes to challenge against his runner-up in the Live Poker standings in a series of three live head's up of 100,000. Note that both players are in a race for the intrepid top spot LivePoker last year. Elky failed to win the trophy for the second successive year. For the moment, it is still impossible to confirm whether the duel will really take place. But Roger Hairabedian, confident and enthusiastic, encouraged his fans to bet on him.
