Deauville: Some French players well placed to win the title
The Day 3 of the European Poker Tour Deauville (EPT) is already close to. It was a decisive day for several players as the starting field of 154 participants was reduced to fifty survivors only. The audience in the poker room assisted in a magnificent tournament as competitors all wanted to be part of the 120 in the money. At the end of the day, the Israeli Shahaf Haday grabbed the chip lead as having accumulated more than one million chips. Five French players also secured their place for the Day 4 by accessing the top 10. Matthieu Hervé is the best placed just behind Shahaf at the second position. Aurélien Guiglini, Pingray Hugo, Cyril André and Enrico Rudelits occupied in the other side respectively the 5 th, 7 th, 9 th and 10 th position.
Some familiar faces will also return to compete in the fourth day of competition like the EPT Deauville champion Lucien Cohen, Jason Koon, the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure finalist, Sam Grafton and James Mitchell who are respectively in the 3rd and 4th position, Michel Abecassis, the EPT Prague champion, Salvatore Bonavena and also Alexander Dovzhenko. Quentin Lecompte, Christophe Lesage, Marion Nedellec, Fabrice Soulier, Alexandre Bonnet and Yannick Reard left for their part the tournament with a part of the prizepool in pocket. As a reminder, the main event of 5,300 of the EPT Deauville 2013 brought together 782 players generating a prize pool of 3,753,600. The winner will receive a big reward of 770,000.
