France Poker Series: Already in its third season
The French national tour France Poker Series (FPS) is on the verge of becoming a major event in France. Launched in 2011, the France Poker Series has been a real success over the past two seasons. On the one hand, the event attracted players because of its first choice destination and the quality of the organization. To this end, the France Poker Series registered a significant influx during its first two seasons if we only mention the attendance of the FPS Season 2 during its last two steps. The FPS Paris hosted 715 players while the grand finale of the season 2, which was held last week in Deauville gathered 828 players. The France Poker Series Deauville saw the coronation of Patrick Braga who won 165,000.
Last Sunday, the president of the France Poker Series, Cédric Billot announced the program of the Season 3 that as the European Poker Tour will only have 5 steps against seven last season. The organizers kept four destinations that will be expanded by a stopover in Cannes in the sumptuous Royal Hotel & Casino. The new season will start on March 21 with the FPS Snow Fest Evian, followed by the FPS Amnéville (May 29 to June 2), the FPS Cannes (September 24 to 29), the FPS Paris (November 17 to 24) and the FPS Final Deauville. The grand finale will take place in early 2014 but the date has not been confirmed. And like the previous season, the Main Event of all stages of the France Poker Series Season 3 maintains its buy-in of 1,100.
