Official ranking of French Clubs: Limoges Poker Club leads
The French association Club of Clubs (CdC) created the Official Ranking of French poker Clubs. Its a nationally live ranking of French poker teams on territory in the country. Note that the clubs eligible for this classification are those involved in the National Championship of Clubs per Team (CNEC), an event organized by the CdC, which is held annually. Regarding the classification criteria, the CdC will use a specific principle which is the Elo system, which was launched by the International Federation of Chess (FIDE) in 1970. Initially, this system allowed to classify the levels of players in games that are played in pairs. But it registered some major changes to become an adequate means of classification for a competition involving several participants. The poker club will be therefore compared according to their performance, their level and regularity in live competitions since 2011. This system also takes into account the indirect method of selecting team members adopted by the training received by each member, the quality of leadership and motivation of each poker club.
Note that the Official Ranking of French poker Clubs is updated four times a year. The first classification has been published and Limoges Poker Club (LCP87) occupies the leading position with 13,252 points. Tregor Poker Club is second with 13,228 points and Auxerre Poker Club finished third with 12,991 points. Grand Chalon Poker, Poker Club Abbeville, AJPPR-Redon Poker Club, Poker Club Catalan, Arène Poker Club, Alenconpoker and Arkane are respectively the 4 th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th position.
