While the European Poker Tour Deauville just finished its two entry days, the grand finale of the France Poker Series Deauville ended with the victory of Patrick Braga. The Canadian kept his lead and won with ease against players like Bruno Santos and Andrew King, who had more than 3 million in chips at the start of the final table. As a reminder, the final table was composed of eight players, including three French: Julien Rustom, Ronan "Roroflush" Monfort and Olivier "TracyChatman" Averso. Konstantinos Nanos, Olivier Averso and Richie Allen completed the other three seats of the final. The first eliminated player from the final was Olivier Averso who left the table with 16,000. Short stack at the final table with 110,000 chips, Richie Allen was the next on the list of eliminated followed shortly after by Bruno Santos ( 31,500) and Konstantinos Nanos ( 39,500).
The elimination of the two last French of the competition defined the head's up of this poker tournament that pitted the Canadian Patrick Braga at the Irish King Andrew. Julien Rustom and Ronan Monfort were eliminated respectively in the 4th and the 3rd place, removal which was however relieved by gains of 48,000 and 60,000. Already chipleader at the start of the final table, Patrick Braga won his duel with Andrew King, who settled for 100,000 of gain for his runner-up place. Patrick Braga succeeds to Ludovic Sultan for the FPS title that has been awarded a gain of 165,000. Note that Ludovic Sultan was elected "Best Player" of the FPS Season 2.
