$ 250,000 Super High Roller: Reinkemeier in the way to the trophy

The Super High Roller tournament of $ 250,000 of the Aussie Millions 2013 began in the evening of Thursday, January 31. The event brought together 14 big names of poker internationally known with four players who make a rebuy. So in total, there were 18 entries generating a prize pool of $ 4,500,000. By looking back over the progress of the first day of competition, it was marked by the elimination of several players like Andrew Robl, Paul Phua, Tony Bloom, Gus Hansen, Jason Mercier, Antonio Esfandiari and Philipp Gruissem. The German Tobias Reinkemeier was in the other hand very lucky. After eliminating Paul Phua, he ended the day by reaching the chip lead with over a million chips in hand. Until now, he is in the good way to win the trophy.

However, the challenge will still be hard as he is followed in the second position by Igor Kurganov who has 854,000 chips and Fabian Quoss in the third place with 764,000 chips. Erik Seidel, Richard Yong, Sam Trickett and Winfred Yu are also competitors for the title. Note that it is a very interesting tournament as the winner of the Challenge LK Jewelery will receive a tidy sum of two million Australian dollars as well as the famous jewel. The three other players in the money could be sure to receive at least $ 500,000 of gain. The final day that will face the last seven survivors will begin this Friday, February 1st at 3:00 pm in the poker room of Crown Casino in Melbourne.
