FPS Deauville: Ludovic Sultan as leader of the Day 1A
Organized as the inaugural tournament of the European Poker Tour Deauville (EPT), the main event of the France Poker Series (FPS) is actually launched. The event brought together for the first day 226 players. At first glance, the field is rather shy, and probably, it will not match that of the last edition, which amounted 715 participants. However, the Day 1A of the final FPS was marked by the presence of several nationally and internationally poker pros. At the end of the first day of competition that has 11 levels of play, there are only 98 survivors with the champion of the FPS Paris 2012, Ludovic Sultan as chipleader. He has 163,000 chips. He comes to maximize his chance to win for the second consecutive time the trophy. Nicolas Jeangorges and Jose Besalduch Traigueros do not give up the tournament as they respectively have 164,400 and 163,400 chips.
The British Roberto Romanello who occupies the 15 th position with a stack of 90,000 is one of the survivors, as Bruno Benveniste, Aubin Cazals, Sébastien Decamps, Fabrice Gouget, Yann Migeon, Sébastien Compte, Konstantin Puchkov and Steven Moreau. In the other hand, the game is over for Flavien Guenan, Céline Bastian, Paul Guichard and Michel Leigborin. The second day of competition begins this Thursday, January 31 at noon in the poker room of Casino Barrière of Deauville. The following of the tournament promises to be particularly interesting as Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Adrien Allain, Eugene Katchalov and Julien Brécard will be still part of the game.
