Dakar Poker Tour: A success for its 5th edition
For the fifth consecutive year, the Terrou-Bi resort of Dakar, Senegal hosted the tournament Dakar Poker Tour. Compared to the previous edition, the edition 2013 of the tournament worked well because a field of 123 players has been recorded during the main event. Poker players from Norway, Seychelles, Germany, Italy, France and Morocco were among the competitors. But in the end, the trophy was awarded to a local player named Mehidine Fares. He ousted Sébastien Compte during the final duel and pocketed the first prize of 25,091.
The French player decided to try also his luck in the High Roller event. And even if he didn't manage to win the trophy, he still shone in the poker room and touched a part of the reward. He came back home therefore with 60,000 in pocket. Note also that Remi Marrale demonstrated a good performance in this tournament in Dakar. The native of Marseilles emerged during a side event by ousting his compatriot Robert Giordano.
