CdC: Launching of a new short-handed event
The organization of amateur poker tournament throughout the French territory is a fingerprint that distinguishes the Club of Clubs (CdC). It is at the origin of the French National Championship per Team by Clubs (CNEC) which allows to elect the best team of poker nationally and the French National Individual Championship by Clubs (CNIC). In addition, the two competitions of this new year will begin soon. And the CdC also decided to expand its offerings. So it decided to start a new challenge which is the short-handed Championship. This event is open to a whole class of player. Obviously, the format 6-max will distinguish the tournament.
According to information published on the website of the CdC, the Short-Handed Championship will be divided into two phases. Competitors will first qualify in an online poker tournament, consisting of five rounds, held on the website of the event partner. The entry fee to qualify online is 5 and the prize pool collected will be used as prize pool because the poker room will no levy. Skilled players whose number is set to 30 will then participate in a live final to be held on the sidelines of the CNIC, specifically during the Day 2 of the tournament. Already, poker enthusiasts in France can prepare to take part in this event. The first round of online tournament will take place on Tuesday, January, 29. The other four rounds will be held on February 12, February 26, March 12 and March 26.
