WPT National Paris: Laurent Polito starts spectacularly 2013
After having completed a great season in 2012, Laurent Polito had just started 2013 with a new conquest. Indeed, the champion of the 10,000 High Roller of the European Poker Tour Barcelona won the 1,500 main event of the first World Poker Tour National (WPT) organized within the circle game Aviation Club de France (ACF) in Paris. As a reminder, the event registered a great crowd of 229 participants, generating a prize pool of 322,890. Short stack at the start of the evening, Laurent Polito was unbeatable and was able to qualify for the title.
Polito won the first prize composed of a prize of 82,000 and a 7,500 package to the WPT Grand Prix of Paris after having eliminated Stéphane Benadiba during the final head's up. The latter has been awarded a sum of 52,000 for his performance. The chip leader at the start of the final table, Omar Lakhdari fell at the third position and pocketed the third prize amounting 33,400. But the poker player who also deserves all the praise during this event is Antoine Saout. In addition to reaching the 4th place of the WPT National Paris, he also signed two great exploits on online poker tables during the same evening. As for the results of the other finalists, Paul Fayngersh ranked 5 th place, Yossi Iffergan (6th), Florent Estegassy (7th) and Damien Lhommeau (8th).
