WPT National Paris: Omar Lakhdari leading the final table
The main event of 1,500 buy-in of the World Poker Tour National Series Paris 2013 will soon end. Indeed, the eight finalists will join the poker room of the Aviation Club de France, to fight for the title. Omar Lakhdari is well placed on the top with 2.3 million chips. This used of the circle has a large advance ahead of the player who is in the second position who is Paul Fayngersh. The latter has a stack of 953,000 chips. However, Lakhdari is not safe to win the tournament anyway. Few French poker stars are still in contention and can block his path. For example, there is Laurent Polito, Stéphane Bendiba, Damien Lhommeau and Antoine Saout who are respectively in the 3rd, 5th, 6th and 8th position. Yossi Iffergan and Florent Estegassy complete the final table.
As a reminder, the champion will receive a prize of 82,000 and a ticket amounting 7,500 for the WPT Grand Prix of Paris. And to come back in the third day of competition, which was held yesterday, as anything is possible in poker, well known players have seen their hopes of winning the trophy to be annihilated. There were among others the case of Ruben Velasco, Mikael Azoulay, Adrien Allain, Marc Uzan and Estelle Denis. However, they all managed to reach the money list composed of 27 members and occupy the 10th, 13th, 16th, 19th and 26th place.
