Michael Phelps: After swimming pool, starting of his poker career!
Multiple Olympic champion, Michael Phelps is an athlete no longer to present in the middle of swimming. But apart from this sport in which the Maryland native excels, poker is also a game that fascinates him for some years now. After leaving Olympics pools, Michael Phelps converted into high level player in another field. Online poker player, Michael Phelps is back in international competition at the Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure which is currently taking place in the Bahamas. In fact, Phelps was seen at the Atlantis Hotel of Paradise Island with a Baltimore Orioles baseball cap and a long beard that made him unnoticed. But despite this camouflage, connoisseurs immediately recognized him. Seeing Michael Phelps in the sunny Bahamas was not a surprise because for years, he was already seen practising his new passion several times in Las Vegas. In 2008, just after the Beijing Olympics, Michael Phelps take part in a $ 1,500 tournament at Caesars Palace.
It is therefore in the Bahamas that Michael Phelps decided to play in the big league near his friend Antonio Esfandiari. He participated in the Main Event of $ 10,000 buy-in and succeeded brilliantly till the day 1B. The holder of 18 Olympic medals had 92,000 chips at the start of the Day 2. But the elation was short, the American left the tournament at the start of the Day 2. Everything seems to make believe that he is a good player but he still has many things to learn. Note that the PCA is his first tournament of more than $ 10,000.
