PCA 2013: The High Roller event promises to be spectacular
Planning a High Roller tournament accessible for a huge buy-in in the program became a habit for organizers of major poker tournaments. In addition, this kind of event begins to seduce elites of poker. The edition 2013 of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) will once again include such a tournament. The event will be called the Super High Roller and it will be available for a buy-in of $ 100,000. As a reminder, the PCA already proposed the same event since 2011. Last year, 38 players took part, which allowed organizers to gather a prize pool of $ 3,136,000. The trophy and the first prize of $ 1.2 million was awarded to Viktor Bloom. The latter managed to get rid of the illustrious Daniel Negreanu during the final duel. For the next edition, a record attendance is expected.
Indeed, already 30 players confirmed their presence for the Super High Roller of $ 100,000 of the PCA 2013. Among them are Daniel Negreanu, the champion 2011 Eugene Katchalov, Jonathan Duhamel, Scott Seiver, John Juanda, Philipp Gruissemn, Jason Mercier, Isaac Haxton, Tony Gregg, Phil Hellmuth and Tom Marchese. Bertrand Grospellier will defend the honor of France at this event. With these many stars who will be in the poker room to compete for the title of the tournament, the public will certainly assist a unique show. Note that the PCA 2013 will begin on January 3. All competitions organized within the framework of this poker festival will take place at Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas.
