EPT Prague High Roller: Philippe Ktorza miss the podium
The 10,300 High Roller event of the European Poker Tour Prague (EPT) delivered its verdict. And it was the German Marvin Retteinmaier who emerged victorious. Note that this tournament held in the poker room of Hilton Prague brought together 108 participants and generated a prizepool of 1,130,000. The top 12 players in the game have been entitled to a share of the reward. But as a champion, it's the young German who pocketed the big share of 365,300. It was Fabian Quoss that he beat in the final duel. Philippe Ktorza did everything to defend the French honors but failed to reach the podium. However, his good run allowed him to pocket 96,900. His compatriot Aubin Cazals was ranked 9 th. In the third place was Juha Helppi. Sorel Mizzi completed the top five. However, we must mention the presence of Jason Mercier at the 7 th place and Eugene Katchalov at the 12 th place.
Marvin Retteinmaier made then a glorious year 2012. Indeed, for the third time this year, he won the award of a major tournament. As a reminder, he holds two World Poker Tour trophy. In 2011, as he had just made his entrance into the world of professional poker live, Marvin Retteinmaier won the title of champion of France Poker Series in Paris. This feat allowed him to be part of the best international players. Currently, he has $ 2.5 million in prize money.
