Online poker: Comeback of Playboy with Amaya
On Thursday, December 13, Amaya and Playboy announced on a press release their agreement to develop a website of lottery and online poker highlighting the Playboy brand from 2013. Note that Playboy Enterprises, owner of the famous eponymous charming magazine and a great audio-visual company has been already present on the market of online games in 2009 in association with Cryptologic Network. The group then ceased its operations and transferred its players on Boss Media. Similarly, the white rabbit, prestige brand of Playboy has not been used to promote online poker for real money. And Playboy founder, Hugh Hefner decided to make a comeback and at first glance, he prepared well this return. A year earlier, he bought the company and established partnerships with various companies practising in online gambling industry. And he seems to have found the best partner in the person of Amaya Gaming Group.
This group, based in Montreal is not a novice in the world of online games. It is the provider of high-tech games and worked for several sites and gambling platforms operating in regulated markets. It also bought Cadillac Jack Inc., an American group known in the manufacture of electronic games before conquering the Ongame poker network. According to this, Amaya has extensive experience with the fact that it is the 10 th network in the world. Amaya's CEO, David Baazov, is convinced that his alliance with Playboy will be fruitful.
