EPT Prague: Four French vying for the semi-finals
There remains now only 55 players competing in the main event of 5,300 at the European Poker Tour Prague (EPT). At the lead for the rest of the competition is Ramzi Jelassi, the champion of the Italian Poker Tour San Remo. He occupy the leading position with 1,238,000 chips in hand. The Swedish poker pro Chris Brammer follow him closely in the second position with 1,021,000 chips and Jeff Sarwer ranks third. In the side of French players, four players will still come back in the poker room of Hilton Prague to defend the colors of their country who are Manuel Bevand with 522,000 chips, Jonathan Khalifa with 486,000 chips, Fabrice Soulier who amassed 265,000 chips and Roger Hairabedian with 173,000 chips. Everything can still happen as these players have also all the possibilities to reverse the trend.
Note that the third day of competition hosted 161 players during which top players like Johan Eames, Vincent van der Fluit, Oleskii Kovalchuk, Shannon Shorr and the French number one in poker Bertrand Grospellier were still present. These well known players have already been forced to leave the game but reached the money list composed of 128 members. Some professional players didn't have this privilege and come away empty handed as Kent Lundmark, Mike Watson and Aubin Cazals. They were eliminated before the bubble burst. The game continues and the purpose of the competitors is now to qualify for the semifinals. At the end of Day 4, there will be only 24 survivors.
