Prague: The capital of poker of this December
As every year, the capital of the Czech Republic receives one of the biggest poker festival in Europe during the Prague Poker Festival. Corinthia Hotel and Hilton received since last week this great poker event composed of the World Poker Tour, the European Poker Tour and the Grand Series Of Poker. King's Casino of Corinthia Hotel receives currently the 3,300 Main Event of the WPT Prague which is already in its third day while the EPT Prague and the GSOP Live are respectively planned from December 9 and 12. The European Poker Tour will be held at the Hilton while the King's Corinthia Hotel Casino will once again host the GSOP Live. The EPT's buy-in is 5,300 while that of the GSOP remains the cheapest of the three with only 1,100, enough to attract many more players.
The World Poker Tour Prague Day 2 ended on Thursday with a remarkable performance of Marco Lang who has 694,000 chips. 287 players started the Day 2 after three days of entry and only 78 of them survived at the end of the day. Behind Marco Lang, there are players having less than 600,000 chips like Elio Fox (571,500), Pawel Brzeski (544,000), Manuel Bevand (537,500), Dermot Blain (530,000), Oleksii Khoroshenin (513,000), Konstantin Danilov (465,000), Mikhail Mazunin (440,000), Jussi Nevanlinna (438,500) and Toby Lewis (417,000). Jason Mercier, Kevin MacPhee and Shannon Shorr are also among the qualified while Eugene Katchalov, Bertrand ElkY Grospellier, Jonathan Duhamel, Fabrice Soulier, Steve O'Dwyer, Roger Hairabedian and a few other players missed their chance to win the first prize of $ 423,957.
