Burglary: Theo Jorgensen received three bullets and lost 4,500
The Danish poker player Theo Jorgensen was the victim of an armed burglary at his home in Copenhagen in the evening of Sunday, December 2. He received three bullets in his leg and lost money in the amount of 4,500. According to information, the criminals who attacked the former dealer and his wife used a gun. The poker star was hospitalized after the call for help of his wife. He is now out of danger and investigations by the police continue to find the culprits. For information, Theo Jorgensen is a great poker player even though he always preferred to remain discreet. He already has a title of the World Series of Poker in 2008 and won a title won in the World Poker Tour Grand Prix of Paris in 2010.
This is not the first attack against a player, even if the country is different. The World Championof poker Jonathan Duhamel suffered the same attack a year ago. Sam Trickett was also assaulted a few months ago after winning the great reward of Guy Laliberté's charity tournament.
