WPT Mazagan: Clement Beauvois keeps the chiplead after the Day 2

The Mazagan Beach Resort welcomed on Thursday the Main Event Day 2 of the World Poker Tour in Morocco during which 81 players were registered. At the end of the day, they were only 25 survivors with Clement "OhMyGuru" Beauvois who keeps his position as chipleader. This member of the PMU Team Pro reinforces his ranking as the WPT Mazagan best player after a remarkable first day. He finished the Day 2 with a stack of 461,000 chips while his pursuer Jeremy Nock has 298,000 chips. Victor Choupeaux completed the podium not far behind with a stack of 291,500. Also included in the top 10 chip counts on the eve of the Day 3, players like Clement Beauvois, Jeremy Nock, Victor Choupeaux, Fred Brunet, Sergey Vasilyev, Sébastien Compte, Giacomo Fundaro, Achille Voltolina, Paul François Tedeschi and Bruno Lopes.



Among the other qualified, we also find top players on the WPT circuit in the person of Davidi Kitai, Guillaume Darcourt, Fabrice Soulier, Jean-Philippe Rohr or Gaëlle Baumann who will start the Day 3 as the short stack with 16,500 chips. The Day 3 looks very interesting because in addition to be the last phase before the final table, only the best gamers will be qualified in the ITM. In fact, the Main Event of the WPT Mazagan expected only 18 paid players to share the prize pool of $ 577,387. The first eliminated player of this Friday at the poker tournament will walk away with a gain of $ 7,216.
