Unibet: A migration for iPoker
Nothing is formalized yet but it seems that Unibet is about to leave Ongame for iPoker. The rumor is expanding on the internet for several weeks with the announcement of the migration of Unibet for Partygaming or iPoker network. Amaya, the owner of Ongame France refuted the information that Pokerfuse.com put online but if that happens, Ongame will no longer offer its services in France. Pokerfuse also speaks about a very short-term migration, which means that the separation between Ongame and Unibet will be in the coming weeks before the end of the year. The possible departure of Unibet will effectively seal the fate of Ongame on the French market because apart from the migration of the Swedish operator, Bwin has also decided to join Partygaming by the end of the year. So no operator will no longer use the logistics of Ongame on the French online poker market from January.
The next arrival of Unibet will reinforce the supremacy iPoker of the French market. Number three market after Winamax and PokerStars, iPoker network have already under its wings two major online poker rooms in France, which are Turbo Poker and Everest. Everest offers its services from iPoker network since last September. Note that the iPoker network also offers its logistics for Joa Online and Betclic. With these four rooms under its wings, iPoker can expect an increase of its traffic and more consistent liquidity during the coming months.
