Belgium Poker Championship: From December 1st to 9 at the casino de Namur
With its eight successful years, the Belgium Poker Championship is back from Thursday, November 29 to Sunday, December 9. And for the sixth consecutive year, it will be the Casino de Namur that will host this great poker event in Belgium. Its organizers hope to gather 800 players and the ambition is not too much as only the Main Event has four entry days (Day 1A, 1B, 1C and 1D). And with the re-entry system till the dinner break of Day 1D, it is likely that the field will exceed 600 players. The Main Event is available for a buy-in of 1,500 and will start from Saturday, December 1st for the Day 1A. It has a deepstack structure with a starting stack of 30,000 chips on levels of 60 minutes on Day 1 and 75 minutes for the next rounds. Aside from the Main Event, the Belgium Poker Championship will also have in its program numerous side events with a buy-in of 110 to 4,000 for the High Roller.
Among the players who will be attending this Belgian poker festival, we note the presence of several online poker room pro teams. Many players from neighboring countries such as France and the Netherlands are also expected. And in the side of the host country, local players as Christophe De Meulder, Kenny Hallaert and Pierre Neuville will be in the game.
