WPT Montreal: As little part of hockey as an interlude
The poker tournament World Poker Tour (WPT), which took place in Montreal broke the record regarding the number of participants. It indeed recorded 1,173 players. Although this WTP Montreal ranks third among the most important in the history of this poker tour, it give the chance to the eliminated of the first day to retry their luck during the day 1B. After an absence of four years on the Canadian soil since 2008, Playground Poker Club hosted the fervently main tournament of Canadian $ 3,300 entry fee. But before the Day 1B, the two longtime friends Antonio Esfandiari and Phil Laak had the idea to practice with local professionals, the country's national sport which is hockey. And several players but also the Royal Flush girls joined them.
The one was placed in the body of an ice hockey goal keeper and the other, after a few tips offered by pro hockey players, started the shooting sessions with their butts. Laak started first by threading the goalkeeper outfit and after exhaustion came the turn of Antonio. The two poker players, after receiving blows puck disowned their talent for ice hockey and made a deep respect especially for goalies of this discipline. Now, the ice hockey repackaged, the World Poker Tour was able to continue again on Day 1B.
