Irish Poker Open: A buy-in lowered for the edition 2013
Poker tournament organizers reveal gradually the calendar dates of their event during 2013. Regarding the Irish Poker Open circuit, the next edition is scheduled to take place from March 29 to April 1st, 2013. It is the most famous Irish poker event created by Terry Rogers in 1981. It is also the oldest European poker tournament. It always had a large field composed of a large number of well known poker players like Phil Hellmuth, Doyle Brunson, David Benyamine, Daniel Negreanu, Dan Harrington, Carlos Mortensen, Freddy Deeb or Phil Laak. Last year, the tournament attracted 500 players and crowned as champion Kevin Vandersmissen.
Note that many online poker rooms are also working with the organizers of the Irish Poker Open and offer qualifying satellites allowing players to take part in the tournament with a more moderate price. For the less fortunate, it is worth mentioning that for this new edition, the entry fee for the main tournament was reduced to 1,250 and becomes more affordable. Thus, players who wish to participate will therefore pay a sum of 2,250 instead of 3,500. Already, those who love playing poker can prepare to join the city of Dublin during the Easter weekend of 2013 to participate in the new edition of the Irish Poker Open. The competition will take place in Burlington Hotel.
