Pokerthon 2012: At the Cercle de Poker of Rennes from December 8 and 9
Each year, the charity and poker organization of Rennes organize a charity poker tournament entitled Pokerthon à Rennes. It is an event created on the initiative of Damien, a poker enthusiast of 26 years suffering from myopathy. Profits from the event will be paid in all for the telethon and will be used to help patients in the purchase of medications and improve their quality of life. This year's tournament will be held at the Cercle de Poker of Rennes on December 8 and 9. Note that this is the sixth edition of the event and last year, the organizers registered a great success because 311 players responded to their invitation, generating a profit of several thousand Euro.
Regarding the Pokerthon 2012 program, attractive tournaments are scheduled. There will be a free main event. The field will be limited to 110 players and each competitor will receive 10,000 starting chips for levels of play of 45 minutes. Registration will be available on the facebook page of the event. On Sunday, December 9, a side event will also be held in the poker room. The number of participants will depend on the number of eliminated players in the main event. As the goal of the organizers is also to satisfy fans of live poker, Sit & Go tables will be available during this festive weekend. It's really a golden opportunity to spend a pleasant moment of relaxation and participate in a charity.
