LAPT Lima: The American Jordan Scott as winner
While whole France was about to congratulate their fellow who was near a triumph in Latin America, it was finally the American Scott Jordan who managed to win this poker tournament. Chipleader at the start of the final table, Maxence Debar had all the chance to win the trophy. In addition, he contributed to the elimination of several finalists as Roberto Vahilis who was awarded the 8th place, the Argentines Aramis Salvadori and Jose Barbero who occupy respectively the 7 th and 8 th place, Brent Sheirbon (5th) and Jorge Gonzalez Pirela (4th). Note that the local player Oscar Barriga help him in some of these operations. Despite his performance, he was also eliminated. He settled then for the third place with $ 81,370 prize.
The final heads'up began after his release. The American Jordan Scott, who started the final with as a low stack managed to improve his position gradually. He was thus in place of chipleader. With extensive experience in head's up tournaments, he did not have too much trouble to get rid of his opponent. So after a few hands, he destroyed the dream of the French player to win the prestigious trophy. However, Debar can be proud to have achieved such a good course. Note that he is the runner-up in a tournament that brought together 376 participants. He pocketed then the sum of $ 138,210. Jordan Scott was going back home with the title of champion of the LAPT Grand Final of Season 5 and the first prize amounting $ 168,210.
