WPT Jacksonville : Schwartz won his first WPT title

The final table of the World Poker Tour Jacksonville 2012 was held as scheduled on Tuesday. The day did not really reserved surprise because the chipleader at the start of the final, Noah Schwartz, kept his lead till the final head's up with Byron Kaverman. At the beginning of the day, six of the 477 registered players entered in the final table, and they were Byron Kaverman, Hans Winzeler, Lee Markholt, Noah Schwartz, Brian Senie and Ryan Hartmann. Noah Schwartz started the day with 44% of the chips in play and qualified rapidly in a more than favorable position for his first WPT title, well before the final.



Schwartz eliminate then Markholt Lee and Brian Senie at the 6th and the 5th place. Both players left the final table with a respective gain of $ 61,819 and $ 77,083. For his part, Byron Kaverman focused on the case of Hans Winzeler, who, eliminated in the 4th place, still pocketed $ 106,848. Ryan Hartmann was the next victim of Kaverman. He left the final table with $ 153,403 of gain leaving Byron Kaverman and Noah Schwartz to fight for the title. At the start of the head's up, the two players recorded roughly the same chips but it took only a dozen hands to Schwartz to reverse the trend and take all the stack of his opponent. On the last hand, Kaverman make all in on a raise of 1,925,000 from Schwartz. This latter wins the round and pocketed $ 402,970 for his coronation.
