DSO Vienna 2012: The trophy for Martin Stausholm
Deepstack tournaments attract more and more poker enthusiasts. Indeed, this type of tournament gives to the best players more chance to win the trophy. Among the most popular Deepstack events inside players, there is the Deepstack Open (DSO). The tour made stops in Vienna, the largest city in Austria and it was a great success. They were 328 participants who were present at the poker room of Montesino Casino to compete for the title of the main event of 550 buy-in. After three days of intense competition, the winner stood out and it was the Danish Martin Stausholm. He managed to dominate the local player Benjamin Spiehs during final duel. With this victory, the Danish pocketed then the first prize amounting 34,850. His runner-up is left for his part with a sum of 20,970.
In the third place is the Israeli Rafi Elharar. He bagged the bronze award that let him receive 14,320. Manual Fasching, Thomas Linher, Babak Pakzad, Lubomir Balaz, Erich Schiel Siedfried Rath and Daniele Scatragli complete the list of finalists. So they occupy respectively the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th position. In the side of French players, many of them participated in the event, but none managed to reach the money list. Note that this step is the last Austrian step of the DSO 2012. Fans will of the circuit will meet in Gran Casino of Barcelona, Spain from November 29 to December 2 to compete for the title of the final.
