GPI 300: Dan Smith in the top of the ranking
The American Dan Smith is now number one in the world of poker. Indeed, he propelled in the head of the GPI 300 ranking. If Elky, Erik Seidel, Jason Merier and some players monopolized the top ranking for several months, now it has a new leader. Smith has 18 cashes and five victories in live poker tournaments. Among his greatest achievements appears three trophies in tournaments organized in the framework of the grand final of the European Poker Tour Monte Carlo 2012. He now has $ 3.6 million in prize money. Two of his victories have not yet been taken into account in this update. He still has the chance to confirm his status as leader next week so. Note that Dan Smith has 3,056.85 points and won five seats.
Regarding the fate of his compatriot Jason Mercier, he was removed from his place. He now occupies the second place. Marvin Rettenmaier remains constant while the French number one Bertrand Grospellier also lost two places and is now in the 4th position. Philipp Gruissem also suffered the same fate. He is now in the 6 th position behind Andrew Lichtenberger. Stephen O'Dwyer still occupies the 7 th position. Phil Hellmuth is 8 th. Vanessa Selbst took the place of Michael Watson. This latter is then the 10 th in the ranking. We also note the progression of some pros who know how to play poker like Justin Bonomo and Daniel Negreanu. They are part of the top 20. It should be mentioned that the outcome of the World Series Of Poker 2012 has not yet been included in this update.
