GPI European Poker Awards: Rendezvous in Paris from January 23, 2013
The Aviation Club de France, the Parisian gambling establishment that sits on the legendary Champs Elysées will receive the GPI European Poker Awards ceremony. It is an event during which, awards for the best players and professionals who contributed to the development of poker on the European continent will be awarded. For this twelfth edition, the ceremony changed its name thanks to a partnership between the organizers and the Global Poker Index (GPI), the best ranking at the international level in the poker world. Nine awards will be distributed during this event which will take place on January 23, 2013 which are the Player of The Year, the Best Tournament Performance, the Rookie of the Year, the Poker stadd person of the year, Europe's Leading Lady, the Lifetime Achievement Award, the Best Event of the Year, the Personality of the year or Rob Gardner Memorial Award and the Internet player of the year.
Note that the European Poker Awards continues to record success every day. Thanks to the partnership between the GPI and the European Poker Awards, only the best will be part of the nominees. According to the leader of the GPI, Alexandre Dreyfus, the ranking members will take part in the selection of nominees. Regarding the jury, they are nine and they will meet at the ACF before the awards ceremony for the vote. The decision of each member of the jury will remain confidential because the election will be secret.
