Heartland Poker Tour: Andrew Denick wins the Main Event
The poker room of Daytona Beach Kennel Club welcomed on Monday afternoon the six-handed final table of the Heartland Poker Tour. The event attracted a field of 374 players who paid a buy-in of $ 1,650. But ultimately, this is Andrew Denick who won the title. Trevor Renner, Nick Schwarmann, Fletcher McKinney and Anne Amato were among the finalists of the Heartland Poker Tour, but they were eliminated during the final table. Nick Schwarmann left prematurely this last round after losing his chips face to a winning hand of Jeremy Joseph. The champion 2011 in Daytona Beach Kennel Club dropped at the 6th place and cashed $ 27,247. McKinney eliminates thereafter Trevor Renner who left the table with $ 33,500 for his 5th place. Jeremy Joseph took charge of the case of Anne Amato and Andrew Denick eliminated Fletcher McKinney. Both players left the final with a respective gain of $ 43,271 and $ 50,250.
After nine hours of head's up during which the chiplead change from one player to another, the final had was won by Denick. He pocketed for the first time in his career a colossal gain of $ 138,187. Jeremy Joseph settled for his part for a gain of $ 78,166 for his runner-up place. The next step of the Heartland Poker Tour will be held in a few days in Iowa. Prairie Meadows Racetrack will receive the first stage of the HPT scheduled from October 19 to 22, 2012.
