Seoul Poker Cup: David Han, leader of the Day 1B
Paradise Walkerhill Casino in Seoul, South Korea welcomed last weekend the Seoul Poker Cup, a live poker tournament with a buy-in of $ U.S. 1,000 (KRW1.100.000). The Day 1A brought together a field of 50 players, but after eight levels of 40 minutes, only 20 players survived from the first day of entry with Dominic Mykhaltso (71,600 chips) as chipleader. The second day of entry assembled a field of 87 players bringing the total number of participants in this new edition of the Poker Cup in Seoul to 137 participants. The number of participants was less important compared to the expectations of the organizers because the event was planned to host 100 players for each day of entry.
At the end of the Day 1B, Han David was the chipleader with a stack of 69,800 chips. The Korean is at the head of the 39 survivors of the day followed closely by another Korean Hyul Jiwoo (63,200). A total of 59 players were qualified for the Day 2 and Mykhaltso start the day as chipleader. A side event of KRW 500.000 buy-in will be held in conjunction with the Day 2 of the Main Event to offer players a 100% poker day in Paradise Walkerhill Casino. This casino chaired by Mr Park holds an important place in the world of poker in Seoul so, the institution will receive a step of the Asia Pacific Poker Tour 2013 from March 12 to 17, 2013 and its Main Event will take place from March 14.
