ANZPT Melbourne: A $ 250 buy-in event as inaugural tournament
The Australia New Zealand Poker Tour (ANZPT) 2012, a reference poker tournament in Oceania has just started another step on last Thursday, October 11. A full program is planned during a little over two weeks of meeting. For the case of the $ 2,200 main event, it will be held from October 26 to 29. But before the meeting, qualifying satellite tournaments with different buy-ins will be held prior to this event, which allow players to access at lower cost to their qualifications. In addition to this main event, two events are also very expected at this edition 2012 of the ANZPT, namely the inaugural tournament, a No-Limit Hold'em of $ 250 buy-in tournament that has already started last Thursday and the $ 50 100K Guarantee. Both events will be spread over several days of competition and competitors can retry their luck on several occasions.
Other events such as the Six-Handed of $ 1,100, the 7-Game Mixed of $ 350, the No-Limit Terminator of $ 350, the Teams NLH of $ 300, the Pot-Limit Omaha of $ 250, the No Limit Hold'em Deepstack of $ 150, the Mega Stack No Limit Holdem of $ 200 and the NLH Turbo of $ 350 will be also on the program. We should also mention that the Australian Poker State of Origin will be also held in conjunction with the ANZPT Melbourne 2012. The event will start on October 24. Finally, two satellite tournaments for the Aussie Millions will also take place and will be available for $ 250 and $ 1,150 entry fee.
