EPT San Remo Day 4: Jason Tompkins as chipleader of the 24 survivors
The 66 survivors at the end of the Day 3 met once again at Sanremo Casino on the Day 4 of the Main Event of the EPT Sanremo. Inge Forsmo gave way his chipleader's place to Jason Tompkins who has a well stocked stack of 2,423,000 chips. At the 2nd place in the chip count of this poker tournament is Inge Forsmo who kept his advantage until the end of the third day when there were only 24 survivors. Forsmo is also above two million mark with 2,025,000 chips. His pursuers are just below him, but nine players have still more than a million chips namely Ludovic Lacay, Negjdet Avdylaj, Angelo Recchia, Jonas Mackoff, Iulian Ruxandescu, Jason Lavallee, Micah Raskin, Adrian Piasecki and Amerigo Santoro.
The day didn't smiled to everyone and this is the case for a quarantine players who have not had the chance to qualify for the next round and to be in contention to win the first prize of 800,000. But they managed to rank in the ITM and get their share from the prize pool of 3,865,450. This is the case of some players like Morten Mortensen, Erion Islamay, Alex Roumeliotis, Mike Watson, David Vamplew and Roberto Romanello. This is also the case with Justin Bonomo, Atanas Kavrakov, Sofia Lovgren, Laurent Polito and Isaac Haxton who failed to qualify for the next day.
