Poker Champions League: A stopover in Italy
European live poker tour less well known as the EPT or the WSOP, the Europe Poker Champions League (PCL) continues to make sensation among poker enthusiasts. After Slovenia and San Marino, the PCL is back in October for an Italian stage in Saint Vincent. The Poker Champions League will be held from October 11 to 15 at Casino de la Vallée, a room that has already proven its professionalism for having hosted national events like the Italian Rounders Poker Tour and stages of the Poker Grand Prix. Many Italian poker personalities will be present at this event if we only mention Salvatore Bonavena, Carla Solinas, Giacomo Valenti, Filippo Candio, Davide De Zan, Rocco Palumbo and Stefano De Grandis. To participate in the event, two formulas are offered to players either by free reserving for the qualifying tournament, or by participating in two satellite freerolls of a respective buy-in of 50 and 150.
In the program of this Italian stage of the Poker Champions League, there will be two stages before the final phase. The Stage 1 will be held on October 11 and 12 for a buy-in of 330 with 10,000 starting chips on levels of 30 minutes. The Step 2 will take place in the evening of October 12 at levels of 40 minutes, a buy-in of 600 and a starting stack of 15,000 chips. The final phase will begin on Saturday, October 13 with a buy-in of 1,100, a starting stack of 30,000 chips and levels of 60 to 70 minutes. As for the final table, it is planned to be held in the afternoon of Monday, October 15.
