WSOPE 2012: A historic double and a 13th bracelet for Hellmuth
There's any other doubt, Phil Hellmuth is a poker legend. He effectively won the victory in the Main Event of the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) 2012. The Poker Brat made an outstanding achievement not only because he's the first to achieve a doubled WSOP and WSOPE victory, but he also won his 13 th bracelet. He thus holds the title of the player with the most bracelet. Note that the final table began in the poker room of the Casino Barrière on Thursday, October 4 at around 4:00 pm. After three hours of play, Jason Mercier, Stéphane Girault and Paul Tedeschi surrendered. The British Christopher Brammer joined them a little time later.
After his elimination, the battle was more fierce as the remaining players tried to resist for the trophy. However, Joseph Cheong was eliminated after three hours of fighting. The young American has once again missed his chance to win a victory in a WSOP main event, finishing 4th. As a reminder, he won the bronze medal at the WSOP 2010 in Las Vegas. Stephane Albertini was the next eliminated, victim of Hellmuth's attacks. He occupied the third place. The final duel between the Poker Brat Sergii Baranov lasted an hour. Despite the performance he showed, the Ukrainian bowed finally face to the biggest poker name of all time.
