WSOPE High Roller: A third successful attempt for John Juanda
The finalists for the Main Event of the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) 2012 are already known. The champion of this year 2012 will be crowned tonight. But the competitors for the title of Majestic High Roller of 50,000 buy-in will still lead a fierce battle in order to win the trophy. Indeed, the event began on Tuesday, October 2. For the moment, it's John Juanda who monopolizes the attention of the public. Note that this American poker pro, specialist of High Roller tournament spent 150,000 before having the chance to qualify for the Day 2. His third attempt was successful because he occupies the place of chipleader with 538,500 chips in hand. Despite this advantage, his task is still difficult. Indeed, the remaining field is still composed of very good players. At the second position is Richard Yong, the player who allowed Juanda to try again for the third time his luck. He has 408,200 chips.
Good players as Mike Watson, Tony G, Tobias Reinkemeier, Daniel Negreanu, and Erik Seidel are also part of the top 10. They occupy respectively the 4th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th position. We must also mention the presence of Tom Dwan and Sam Trickett in the list of survivors for the second day of competition. In the side of French players, Roger Hairabedian and Jean-Noël Thorel who has the fifth largest stack amounting 355,000 chips will be also in the game. In the other side, the adventure is well and truly over for Eugene Kachalov, Wang Qiang and Gregory Merson.
