Player of The Year: A nice progression for Farah Jaka and Mizrachi
The World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) started for a long time. Several tournaments have been played and already allowed several poker professionals to win trophies or gains depending on their performance, which allowed them to earn points and improve their position in the Player Of The Year (POY) rankings. In this context, we should mention the exploits of Michael Mizrachi, who won the third place in the Pot-Limit Omaha tournament won by Roger Hairabedian. This new performance earned him 288 points and he is currently 12 th in the standings. Farah Jaka also registered a big growth and he's propelled in the 7th position in the standings after having been qualified for the final table of the WSOPE Event 5.
The Event 4, No-Limit Hold'em Shootout of 3,250 also allowed four players to access the top 100 of the POY. Firstly, there is Dan O'Brien who gathered 360 points thanks to his second place in the tournament. He is now at the 69 th position in the ranking. John Monnette also made a good run and won 288 points for having finished third. He is currently in the 31st place in the ranking. About Oleskii Kovalchuk, his fourth place in this event allowed him to climb at the 25 th position in the ranking. Finally, there is also Paul Guichard, the 6th finalist of the tournament. He got 144 points which allowed him to reach the 42 th place in the ranking. Among the players who also pocketed more points thanks to their talent for playing poker, there is Jonathan Aguiar and Marvin Rettenmaier.
