The Karabatic and his handball team's case became a nightmare
Karabatic brothers and their fellows are still living a nightmare due to the alleged affair of fake bets concerning the famous handball match between Montpellier and Cesson. Among them were, former players of Montpellier including Mladen Bojinovic, Samuel Honrubia and Primoz Prost, the goalkeeper of Hérault club are also involved in this bad case. These French stars were released on bail and forbidden to meet the club's players and the coaching. A decision which displeases to Nikola Karabatic's lawyer as it represents sending his client to unemployment. For Samuel Honrubia, his lawyer confirmed that his client does not deny having bet on the game, but categorically denies any idea on a distorted or faked match.
About Primoz Prost, his lawyer insisted that his client was unable to make any cheating but the latter limited only on betting during the second half. Despite the collective unconscious and the stupidity of the players, they had no intention of cheating on the bet. According to Valerie Fourneyon, the Minister of Sports, a special section on the modernization of sport and mainly on the sports betting is already in her hands and she is about to vote in the fall 2013. However, she emphasizes that the law requires major revisions as bets are often risk factors on the accuracy of results, health and public safety.
