It's been since a little over a year that the French Games Advisory Committee was installed by Chantal Jouanno and François Baroin, respectively, both former Sports Minister and former Minister of Economy with the presence of the rapporteurs of the Assembly and the Senate and a committee composed of representatives of parliamentary and the State. This committee aims to assist in any form of decision while paying particular attention to the public health. It is also responsible of making proposals to the Minister of Budget and all the government regarding desirable changes of the law of May 12, 2010. Recently, the National Assembly released the names of the representatives who will constitute the Advisory Committee of the Games.
The list includes the Socialist Party MP elected in the seventh district of Calais Yann Capet and the elected member of the fourth district of Les Vosges region Christian Franqueville. The substitute appointed to complete the Advisory Committee is the UMP deputy of the thirteenth district of Paris Jean-François Lamour. In addition, senators were also appointed to work on the Games Advisory Committee. Thus, the UMP Senator François Trucy of Var is an expert in the area of online games but also president of the Games Advisory Committee, the Senator of Gironde Marie-Hélène des Esgaulx and the Senator and UMP member Ambroise Dupont become members of this Advisory Committee of the Games.
