ACF Poker Tour: Triumph of Florent Marques
After various stages organized in many cities such as Paris, Cannes and Magazan, the grand final of the first season of the ACF Poker Tour was held in the poker room of the prestigious Aviation Club de France and ended with the victory of Florent Marques. It was a successful event because it brought together 153 players including poker professionals such as Bruno Fitoussi, Isabelle Mercier, Lucien Cohen, Antony Lellouche and Antoine Saout. The prizepool collected at this tournament of 1,500 entry fee amounted 215,730.
Florent Marques went back home with a big smile then because after three days of battles, he was able to win face to a such important field with many good players. It's also his greatest performance in live tournaments. Note that he ousted Carole Segoura during the final duel and pocketed for his winning the first prize of 51,780. Segoura was entitled to the second prize of 38,830. Despite her defeat, she comes also to embellish her record. The place of bronze was awarded to Phung Khing. This latter pocketed the sum of 25,890. Philippe Bizet, Ariel Cheminaud, Patrik Hirvonen, Carlos Lopes, Eric Nhouyvanisvong and Yann Tranchant occupied respectively the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th place. We should also mention the presence of Philippe Barouk and some online poker pros like Alex Ferrand, Erwann Pecheux and Julien Jegard in the money list.
