GUKPT London: Start of a big festival of poker
Since Sunday, September 16, 2012, the Grosvenor Victoria Casino in London hosted a new stage of the tournament Grosvenor United Kingdom Poker Tour (GUKPT). The poker festival began with a satellite tournament qualifier for the £ 1,070 buy-in main event, the highlight of the event which kickoff is scheduled to take place on Sept. 20 from 2:00 pm. The entry fee for this tournament was set at £ 35 and 10 seats were distributed. Note that the main event will be composed of two Day 1. In terms of structure, players will start the game with 20,000 starting chips for game levels of an hour. And like other major tournaments of the moment, the organizers decided to adopt the re-entry format for all the events offered as part of this poker festival. Latecomers will also have the opportunity to participate as registration will be open until the end of the sixth level of play.
Besides the main event, therefore, several side event are in the program throughout the GUKPT London. Among them are the NL Hold'em Freezeout of £ 110, which began in the poker room in the morning of Monday, September 17. On September 18, a NL Hold'em Freezeout of £ 330 is also available to players. It will consist of two days of competition. Omaha enthusiasts will be honored on Sept. 19 as they will take part in the event open for £ 275. On September 23, a NL Hold'em 6 -Max will be available in the casino.
