WPT Grand Prix of Paris: 143 survivors for the Day 2
A great rendezvous for poker enthusiasts, the World Poker Tour Grand Prix of Paris is currently taking place in Paris at the Aviation Club de France. The 7,500 buy-in Main Event began on Monday with the Day 1A which was marked by the participation of 96 players and 51 of them were qualified for the Day 2. Among the survivors of the day, we find Antony Lellouche, Basile Yaiche, Theo Jorgensen, Jacques Enjoubault, Dominik Nitsche, Jonathan Duhamel, Marvin Rettenmaier, Jason Mercier, Nicolas Levi, Kara Scott, Daniel Cates, Philippe Ktorza, Justin Bonomo, Roger Hairabedian...
On the Day 1B, 132 players came to enroll or re-enroll. But at the end of the day of Tuesday, September 11, 92 players were qualified with the singer Gregory Boissenot as chipleader with a stack of 95,000 chips. Other major live poker players also had their ticket for the Day 2 like Tony G, Eugene Katchalov, Steve O'Dwyer, Michael Mizrachi, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Fabrice Soulier, Antoine Saout, Peter Jetten, Scott Seiver, Bruno "Kool Shen" Lopes, Dan Smith or Tobias Reinkemeier. After the two days of entry of this Parisian stage of the WPT, Jacques Enjoubault, the Day 1A chipleader will lead in terms of chip counts at the start of the Day 2 with a stack of 225,200 chips. But these two days of entry did not make everyone happy. In fact, some players like David Benyamine, Vanessa Selbst, Dan O'Brien, Jean-Philippe Rohr, Guillaume Darcourt, Roberto Romanello, Ludovic Lacay will not have the chance to return at the Aviation Club de France for the following of this poker tournament.
