WPT Legends of Poker: Josh Hale leads the final table
The Day 4 of the WPT Legends of Poker hosted the 18 survivors of the previous day to sort the last group of players who will have access to the six-handed final table. Players left then one by one the tables of Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles until the six survivors to the final table were defined. Among the twelve poker players eliminated, we can mention the case of Joseph Cheong, WSOP November Nine in 2010, who was the first to leave the table. Cyrus Farzad who started the day as chipleader was meanwhile eliminated in the 12th place but pocketed $ 32,000. Josh Hale was responsible of the eliminating of Jim Willerson, the bubble boy of the final table. Of the 622 players who registered for the Main Event of $ 3,700 buy-in so, only Max Steinberg, Jeff Madsen, Raouf Malek, Greg Mueller, Josh Hale and Ali Eslami are still vying to compete for the WPT title.
Josh Hale is the chipleader at the start of the final table with a well stocked stack of 7,325,000 chips while his opponents have at least 3.5 million chips. Indeed, Hale has the double of the stack of his pursuer Greg Mueller who own 3,490,000. The rest of the field is composed of Raouf Malek (3,130,000), Ali Eslami (2.9 million), Jeff Madsen and Max Steinberg who is the short stack of the final table with a stack of just over one million chips.
